Dr. Jadah Johnson, MD

Jadah is a dedicated yoga teacher, physician, and animal advocate with a passion for blending science and mindfulness. After receiving a Royal College grant to complete her yoga teacher training in May 2023, she launched a pilot yoga class for inpatients at Rockyview General Hospital. Inspired by her rescue dog, Tulip, she also channels her love for animals into yoga projects that support animal charities. With a strong background in neuroscience and meditation, she is committed to fostering mental well-being and building connections between mind, body, and community.

 

Downward Dog For a Cause

Join us for a serene Yin Yoga experience with sound bowls, designed to nurture your mental well-being while supporting a great cause. This class combines gentle, restorative poses with the healing vibrations of sound therapy, promoting relaxation, stress relief, and mindfulness. Proceeds to benefit the Revelstoke Humane Society and the RIH Community Sponsorship Program. Unwind, connect, and make a difference for yourself, our local animals, and patients in need of local health care services.

When: Mondays @ 7pm

How long: 75 minutes (55 minutes of yoga + 20 minutes of sound healing)

Price: $25 drop in, $110 for 5 class pass, $200 for 10 class pass
